MetraWeather's Media API is used to provide location-based forecasts, observations, radar and satellite information to news and media websites in Australia, including Sky News Weather, Prime7 and ABC.
Global Lightning API
MetraWeather's Global Lightning REST API gives near real-time access to lightning (thunderstorm) information for use in internal apps and systems. This API offers GeoJSON and TileJSON formats. The Lightning API accepts API Keys and JWTs. These are provided either in a header or as query Parameter for WebSockets.
Point Forecast API
A new Point Forecast API provides access to hyper local forecasts across the globe, for a wide range of atmospheric and oceanogarphic parameters. Atmospheric paramters included temperature, rainfall, wind speed (surface and hub height for wind farms) and relative humidity. Oceanographic parameters include wave height, wave period and wave direction.
